Why Render looked for support

As an entrepreneurial company with global ambitions, Render engaged We Are Charlotte to establish greater depth in their People & Culture function and lay the foundations for an internal team.

As Render continued to grow it moved to an internal model, however it was difficult for one internal team member to cover the broad HR spectrum globally and exposed the business to key-person risk. Render reactivated their partnership with us and we continue to operate as their embedded P&C function, supporting their Australian and US teams with the depth of expertise needed for a high-growth environment.

Our approach to working with Render

As Render’s embedded People & Culture team, we have performed the full function of an internal HR department for more than three years.

We work closely with Render’s CFO and CEO, and deliver the full HR lifecycle for employees from onboarding and offboarding to performance management, remuneration reviews and leadership support — across Australia and the US.

Our team-based model means Render can access the full spectrum of People & Culture experience from strategic guidance for executive level matters to project design during key periods and hands-on HR delivery day to day.

Solving their People & Culture needs without the in-house hires has helped Render’s internal teams stay focused on scaling and growing into the US, where their customer presence is now larger than in Australia.
